Mundane Meaning - Tyr
Divinatory Meaning - Responsibility, discipline, duty, victory, valour, fulfilling an oath or obligation, self sacrifice, strength, the warrior path, extreme motivation, honor, justice, leadership, authority.
Merkstave (reversed) - Defeat, injustice, imbalance, failure, impotence, conflict where there should be harmony, strife, war, difficulties, a man with secrets, dishonesty on the part of a man.
Magickal Uses - Any situation where protection is needed. It ensure victory, for strength, to ensure justice, to win a court case, healing a wound.
Analysis - Tyr is a warrior but he did not fight just for the sake of fighting. He fought for justice and is therefore the god of just causes. Tiwaz represents a voluntary sacrifice by someone that knows what and why they are giving up. It is a sacrifice for a noble cause.
