Mundane Meaning - Journey
Divinatory meaning - Destiny, life lessons, a journey in either to mundane world or a spiritual journey. A vacation or relocation, personal rhythm, the dance of life, a quest or pilgrimage, possible travel from pleasure. Seeing the right move for you to make and deciding to act upon it.
Merkstave (reversed) - A warning to not travel or foretelling of a delay, a trip you wish you did not have to take, forced relocation, injustice, disruption, demotion, perhaps a death.
Magickal Uses - Protection for anyone that travels, help to ease you through changes, to reconnect, counter the chaotic and binding influences of things in the subconscious.
Analysis - Raidho represents the path of a person's life and how it intersects and interacts with other paths in a complex network of threads that form from the various relationships of life. Think of these as the web of life, a web where when you pluck one string all others within the web vibrate to greater or lesser degrees. By becoming aware of how the threads around you interact, it becomes easier to determine the path of least problem in our journey.
Raidho reminds us that, although it may seem that we have accomplished our goals at ansuz, life and change continue and we must always go on. We will eventually end up where we began, but on a higher level and with a better perspective. The journey never really ends.
