It is important to note for the tarot purists out there that these lessons were not intended to be a complete online course to learn tarot cards. Rather it is intended to give people a taste of doing a reading. Allowing them to get some quick answers to their problems on their own. The quality of the reading available with this method is as good, if not better than any reading you can get from any computer program on the market and you do not have to completely learn tarot to get the answers you need.

I am a realist. I fully believe it is usually best if someone else does a tarot card reading for you, whether it is online or in person, mainly because most people are too close to their problems to be able to remain unattached to the questions being asked. But there can be times when you don't have the time (or money) to get someone else to do an online tarot reading for you. Yet events in your life prove you need the guidance that only a card reading can give and you need it now, not next Friday when you get paid. Our free quick and easy method lessons are for those times, so you are not left out in the cold, all on your own and you don't have to know everything that is normally taught in any of the learn tarot classes being offered.

This method is best used with readings using 3 cards or less. I prefer the 3 card reading using the basic past, present and future designation for the 3 cards drawn.

Step 1: Form your question.

A specific question is very important when doing a tarot reading whether you are doing it yourself or having someone else do the reading. How you word your question will have a lot to do with the quality of your reading. Below is a list of rules to keep in mind as you determine the wording of your question.

• Ask very specific questions.
• Keep your question to a single topic. It is better to do a couple of readings rather than asking a question on multiple topics.
• Keep your readings about you or about how others will affect you. It is not a good idea to do a reading on another person without their permission.
• This method does not work well in trying to determine time frames.
• Word your question with as few words as possible.

Your question is a very important part of getting a good online tarot card reading, especially when you have just begun to learn tarot cards. You will need to look at the meanings of the individual cards and compare them to the way the question was worded to get the best answer possible.

As times goes on and you learn more about reading tarot cards, you will find the specifics of the question are not as important as they are in these early stages, but for now, keep the question very specific.

Shuffle the cards just like you would shuffle any other deck of cards, but while you are shuffling, keep your mind on the question you are asking. If need be feel free to repeat the question over and over to yourself while you are shuffling.

This is where you first start to use your intuition in your readings. Keep shuffling until you feel like they have been shuffled enough. Some people will simply "know" they are shuffled enough, some will hear a voice saying they have been shuffled enough, while others will see a signal that it is enough.

There is no perfect amount of shuffling as you learn tarot reading. What matters is you are putting your personal energies into the shuffling while focusing on the question you seek an answer for.

I suggest a 3 card reading. Through trial and error, this layout has proven to work extremely well with this quick and easy system and with people who have just begun to learn tarot.

Simply turn over the top 3 cards placing them in a single line across the table in front of you from left to right. Generally, the first card on the left is considered to be the past card. The middle card is considered to be the present card and the card on the right is considered to be the future card.

It is important to note that just because that is the usual way that many people see the cards, it does not mean that your reading will see the cards that way, so if it does not seem to fit, don't worry about it it. Just accept the reading as it is and move on.

This simple reading does NOT look at whether a card is upright or upside down, all cards are considered upright. After you have advanced a few steps down the path to learn tarot, you can begin to take into consideration which direction the cards are turned in.

Each of the 3 cards has a basic meaning and then the meanings are woven into a story that answers the question as it was asked.

Once you have dealt your cards, our Tarot Meanings page will give you the basic meaning for each card. It usually helps if you simply copy and paste the meanings, in order of how the cards were dealt into a word processor so you can see them on a single page.

Think about the specific question you asked when you started to prepare for this reading, then look at each individual card's meanings and see how they fit together. In almost every case, you should be able to determine a flow between the 3 cards. It may be based on past, present and future or it could be based on the order in which the 3 things will happen.

The flow may be very obvious or it may be somewhat hidden. It may be that your intuition will show you what the connection is. Just keep your question in mind as you read over the card meanings and you will see the connection. This is by far one of the easiest ways to learn tarot, or at least enough about tarot to be able to get a quick and easy reading at any time.

The Two of Pentacles meaning:

The Two of Pentacles speaks of balance and change and how they interact in our lives. It can sometimes be hard to keep life in balance, especially when change is happening on a regular basis, but in order for our lives to grow and become more than they currently are, there must be change. At the same time, we must keep all the various parts of life in balance or life becomes more chaos than peace.

When this card appears in a reading, it usually signifies that there is change in the works, but it is usually positive change. It may require you to do a balancing act for a while, but you will handle it with ease and come through it feeling like you have accomplished something.

At times, when this card appears it means that you are trying to balance too many things at once. Take a look at your life and if this is the case, think about putting a task to the side to give you time to complete another. This is the balance that will get your through the tasks.

Queen of Swords Meaning:

The Queen of Swords is a highly intuitive person that knows the ways of the world but at the same time, she is a no nonsense person that tells it like it is and admires honesty and truthfulness. She understands people can and will make mistakes and she does not look down upon them when they do. She has a great sense of humor, is quick to make small jokes but she does not easily fall prey to the tricks and temptations people can throw at us.

When this card shows up in a reading it is urging you to look at your own situation through the eyes of the Queen of Swords. Have fun, enjoy your work but do not allow others to take advantage of you.

The card may be pointing to a specific person be it man or a woman, that has the energies of the Queen of Swords. Be inspired by this person and mold your life to be more like them.

Ace of Swords Meaning:

The Ace of swords is about truth and justice and having the knowledge and mental ability to know and fight for both. Many people wonder why we don't live lives that are 100% blessed with everything going our way, but we would never learn or grow that way. Humans tend to need to suffer a little for the message to truly sink in.

When the Ace of Swords appears in a reading it is letting you know about one of those instances when you might have some sort of a setback or lesson to learn from. But the main message is not about the actual instance, but the fact that you have the ability to overcome the problem, to learn and grow from it and to remind you that you will come out on the other side, a better and stronger person than when you went into the problem.

We are given opportunities to learn on a daily basis and there is no reason to think this life lesson will be any more severe than the thousands of others we learn throughout our life. Just make sure that you hold your head high, maintain your commitment to truth and honesty and know that God has already put inside of your everything you need to make it through this and many other trials in your life.

So lets look again at exactly how the question was worded. Will my business be a success?

When you look at the message of the 2 of Pentacles, there are several things in the meaning that could be dealing with a business. Since you are doing this reading for yourself (supposedly) you would look at the meaning and examine where you stand with your business. See if any of the message fits what you have already experienced or what you are expecting to happen within your business.

Now do the same with the other two cards and you should start to see a message. If you do not see the message at first, go through it all again because the message is there and your job is to determine how the message fits your life.

My interpretation of this reading:

If I was doing this reading for someone else, my interpretation would be something like:

The future looks good for your business. Changes have been happening and will continue to happen that will allow your business to grow and become what you want it to become. Just be careful that you do not bite off more than you can chew. Don't allow the business to take over your life. Keep business and family in balance and you will be fine.

Your intuitive processes about your business are strong and you should listen to that inner voice that is guiding you on a regular basis. Keep your work enjoyable and listen to the inner voice to keep your business growing in the right direction.

The road before you will not be completely smooth. There will be times when things do not go as planed. But you can handle these little interruptions. You have the knowledge and the guidance you need to be a success. So keep your head up, learn from your mistakes and keep moving forward and success will be yours.

Notice how that question was worded. Most people when they think of a question like this, they really want to ask an either/or question. Always keep the wording of your question to a single topic. If the reading does not give you a clear answer, then you can do another reading to get a clearer answer.

Now is not the time to make bold moves. There is a lot going on around you at the moment and much of it is not conducive to being at your best when it comes to making decisions. Take some time to really think through your choices. How will this tool benefit you? What will the absolute worst thing be if you do not buy it? Is it something that can produce enough income to pay for itself in a reasonable amount of time? These are the types of questions you should be asking right now.

Purchasing this tool at this moment in time may be over extending yourself right now. Times are tough and most every business is experiencing an uphill battle right now. Bide your time. As you can see it is possible to give highly detailed and an in depth reading using nothing but this learn tarot quick and easy system. But chances are good you will need to work on it to reach the point of seeing things as easily as I do. I have been doing this for over 40 years now, so don't fret if you can not do it on your first try.

Always keep the question asked in mind as you read the individual tarot card meanings. As you get use to doing this you will begin to see exactly how each card fits into your question and before you know it, you will have most of the reading laid out in your head by the time you finish reading the 3rd card drawn.
